Domenic Anghelone of Hyde Park was killed around 1:13 p.m. Friday, Nov. 23 on Saint Andrews Road, said Hyde Park Police Chief Robert Benson.
Anghelone was transported to MidHudson Regional Hospital by Northern Dutchess Paramedics where he succumbed to his injuries, Benson said.
The crash occurred when a 2005 Hyundai Santa Fe driven by Tami L Halloran, 43, along with a passenger, Keith Halloran, both from Wappingers Falls, crossed the double-yellow line and struck Anghelone's car, a preliminary report found.
Both occupants of the Hyundai were transported to MidHudson Regional Hospital by Northern Dutchess Paramedics with non-life threatening injuries.
No charges have been filed at this time.
Saint Andrews road remained closed while the crash was investigated and reconstructed by the Hyde Park Police and New York State Police.
The Hyde Park Police were assisted at the scene by the New York State Police, Hyde Park Fire Department, Roosevelt Fire Department, and Northern Dutchess Paramedics.
